Apple usually releases its new iPadOS alongside the corresponding iOS version but that was not the case this year. While iOS 16 has been out for over a month, iPadOS 16 is still not finalized for a consumer release but Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says we can expect the stable release of iPadOS 16.1 on October 24. Apple previously confirmed it will skip iPadOS 16 and will directly release iPadOS 16.1 to users.
Apple has not yet confirmed the release date but Gurman expects that to happen soon and he believes Cupertino will follow its strategy of releasing new products and firmware updates…
